The floral arrangement on our Altar Table today is placed in loving memory of Beatrice West Swinson given by Pam & Steve Wrench.
During the month of September NC Southern Baptists observe a Week of Prayer and receive a special offering for NC State Missions. Our offering goal is $1,000.00. Special envelopes have been placed in the offering plates.
WMU Circles 1 & 2 will meet in the home of Sandra Autry on Tuesday, September 7th at 9:00am.
Homecoming Celebration 2010 will be held on Sunday, October 3rd. Rev. Paul Honeycutt, pastor of Pleasant Union Baptist Church, will be our Guest Speaker. Mrs. Elizabeth Shatterly will teach our Sunday School Lesson (youth-adults) in the sanctuary. Our offering goal this year is $15,000.00 to be used to buy a Storage Building. Homecoming invitation letters and envelopes are at the front of the church.
We will be having a Community Outreach Event-“Community Fun Fest-Family, Food & Fun” on Saturday, October 16th. If you would like to help with this event please see Carlton or Linda Honeycutt.
